Social Participation
In this section, information is disclosed regarding the instances of social participation, public hearings and consultations and other actions to encourage the participation of the internal and external community in public management within the scope of the Federal Institute of São Paulo.
As described by the Comptroller General of the Union (2019, p. 15):
Through the instances and mechanisms of social participation, the State provides information, clarifies doubts, opens debates and reports to society on actions and projects of relevant impact or social interest. For this reason, Law No. 12.527 / 2011 determined that access to public information should be ensured by holding public hearings or consultations and by encouraging popular participation.

General Ombudsman
The Ombudsman-General of the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP), an instance centralized in the Rectory and directly subordinated to the highest authority of the body, is the sectoral unit of the Federal Executive Branch's Ombudsman System [art. 2, inc. Structurally, ombudsmen are important instances for the integrity and governance of an institution that, together with the other areas of the body, promote the strengthening of management.
