The Itapetininga Campus receives works from high school students for I Mostra and Science Fair. Participation is free and open to students from any educational institution.
The exhibition will be held at the National Science and Technology Week, on October 24th, and will have two stages: the Science Fair, with the exhibition of projects developed by IFSP students and partner schools, and the Scientific Exhibition, with presentation of projects developed by high school students.
High school students regularly enrolled in the public or private network of regular or technical education may participate in the Scientific Exhibition of the Campus Itapetininga.
Applications for free technical and scientific-level papers will be accepted, planned and developed by students, under the mandatory guidance of a supervisor.
Submission of works to the Scientific Exhibition is free and must be done until August 10 through the website: https://eventos.itp.ifsp.edu.br/index.php/I_FEIRA/I_Mostra/index.
The XNUMXst Itapetininga Science Fair and Science Fair is an event designed and carried out by the Research, Innovation and Postgraduate Coordination and Extension Coordinator of the Itapetininga Campus and aims to bring together Primary Schools, Teaching and Research Institutions and the Community stimulating and disseminating scientific knowledge to the citizens of the Itapetininga region.
The Event will take place on October 24, 2019, from 8:30 am to 17:15.561 pm, at Campus Itapetininga, located at Avenida João Olímpio de Oliveira, XNUMX.
Participation in the event as a visitor is free, requiring the prior registration of the visiting school, informing the number of students and the visiting hours. Visiting by the community is also free, without the need for registration.
Regulation of the Scientific Exhibition
Each work may have the participation of a maximum of three students and a teacher / advisor. Each student may submit and participate in only one work.
The participation of students with an oral presentation of work in the Scientific Exhibition is subject to the approval of a written work registration.
The written work must follow the model and contain the following information:
I) Information about the participants (students, advisor, co-supervisor);
II) Project title;
III) Category of the project;
IV) Complete Work containing a summary of the work (maximum 250 words), three keywords separated by commas, justification, theoretical basis, objectives, material and methods, results, conclusions and bibliographical references, between three to five pages, including figures and tables.
The documentation prepared by the students should emphasize only what was done by the students themselves, identifying the activities carried out with external help.
For analysis and evaluation of the works sent to the Scientific Exhibition, a Scientific Committee will be formed, made up of professors and researchers, including servers from the IFSP campuses. The commission will be responsible for choosing 30 works that will be presented orally and continue participating in the Scientific Exhibition.
All chosen papers must be presented in the form of an oral presentation.
The oral presentations will take place on October 24, 2019, at 13:30 pm, at the Campus Itapetininga. Rooms with projectors will be available for the presentation.
All participants in the oral presentation stage will receive a certificate of participation in the Scientific Exhibition.
The best works will be awarded with certification, medal or honorable mention.
