The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) announced today (24) the rules for conducting debates between candidates for president and director general of the IFSP campuses. check out here.
The CEC also informed the dates of the debates for candidates for president. The first debate will take place on September 30; the second and third debates take place on the 5th and 8th of October, respectively. All debates are scheduled to start at 18 pm. The debates between the candidates for director-general will take place on days and times that will be scheduled and published by the Electoral Commission.
According to the regulation, in order to prevent the risk of contamination by Covid-19, the debates will be held through a videoconferencing platform and transmitted through YouTube. Each candidate may be accompanied by only one assistant.
Each debate will be divided into four blocks. In the first block, the candidates will be introduced; in the second, there will be questions between the candidates; in the third, candidates will answer questions from the public, and the fourth block will be used for final considerations.
Links to online forms will be made available on institutional websites for the community to ask candidates questions. Interested parties can send questions to the dean candidates using the available form here.
The campaign period for the first round of the election takes place between September 17th and October 12th. The expected date for the first round is October 13, and the result of the calculation will be released on the 16th of the same month.
