On Tuesday afternoon, the São Paulo Campus received a visit from the secretary of Professional and Technological Education (Setec) of the Ministry of Education, Ariosto Antunes Culau.
Culau came to the capital of São Paulo to participate in the Professional Education Forum of the State of São Paulo and took the opportunity to visit the IFSP, where he was received by the campus director, Luis Cláudio de Matos Lima Junior, and by the rector, Eduardo Modena.
During the visit, Culau was able to learn a little about the projects developed by the Campus São Paulo and the actions developed by the Institute in the area of renewable energies. Also on the agenda were issues related to the partnerships that the IFSP has with the municipal and state education departments and with the Paula Souza Institute.
In the conversation with the secretary of Setec, topics such as education reform and Resolution 6, which dealt with the guidelines of technical education integrated with high school, were also addressed.
In addition to the dean and the campus director, the meeting with Culau included the director of Inova, Alexandre Chahad, the advisor to the rector Bruno Luz, the dean of Extension, Wilson Matos, the dean of Education, Reginaldo Vitor Pereira, and the professors at the São Paulo Campus Garabed Kenchian and Arnaldo Borges.
