Itapetininga receives registrations for Scientific Robotics Exhibition

IFSP Campus Itapetininga enrolls for the V Robotics Scientific Exhibition until June 23. High school and college students from any educational institution can apply to submit written papers or to participate in the robot competition.

The exhibition will take place on August 20, at the IFSP Campus Itapetininga, at Avenida João Olímpio de Oliveira, nº 15.561. On the date, two activities will be carried out:

Scientific Robotics Exhibition: presentation of written works. The papers best evaluated and nominated by the scientific committee for the awards will be presented orally. The other works chosen by the commission will be presented in poster format. Three categories will be evaluated: high school students, undergraduate students and Girls in Science (exclusively for female students). See the submission rules here.

Robot Sumo Competition: the robot can be developed using any educational robotic kit or hardware applicable in automation in any programming language. There is no distinction between categories. It must be limited in size to 25 cm wide by 25 cm long and weigh no more than one kilogram. There is no height limit. The winning teams will be awarded on the day of the dispute. Students regularly enrolled in high school (regular or technical) or higher education from public or private institutions can participate.

Applications for papers on the theme of robotics will be accepted, planned and developed by students, under the mandatory guidance of a teacher / advisor.

Entries can be made until June 23.

All interested parties can follow the activities of the exhibition free of charge as a listener. It is not necessary to pre-register.

The event

AV IFSP Itapetininga Scientific Robotics Exhibition is an initiative of the Research, Innovation and Postgraduate Coordination and Extension Coordination in partnership with the campus Robotics Group.

This is a scientific event that aims to awaken scientific interest in robotics in high school, technical and undergraduate students from public and private institutions.
