The IFSP Extension Dean (PRX) published today (13) a promotion notice for extension projects, linked to teaching and research, with the provision of institutional resources to face the economic impacts caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Ten projects will be promoted through the Support Program for Extension Activities, which allow the articulation of the academic community with self-employed workers, individual micro-entrepreneurs (MEI), micro-companies (ME) and small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) around the campuses.

The proposed projects must include, at a minimum: mapping of partners, a service provision, two communication channels and the production and dissemination of training material. The projects should last for three months and can be extended. Considering the recommendations for social isolation, the planned activities should be carried out remotely.

Proposals must be submitted using the Suap until the 1st of May. The results of the approved projects will be announced on May 3, and activities will begin shortly after approval.

Check out video by Dean of Extension, Wilson Matos, about the announcement.
