The IFSP, following the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, due to the current situation that the country is experiencing as a result of the Corona Virus pandemic - COVID19, decides to postpone the “Southeast Regional Symposium on Inclusion in Vocational and Technological Education”. The event would take place between March 31 and April 02, at the Campus Campinas.
The IFSP also informs that, as soon as there is a position from government agencies on the solution of health problems, it will reschedule the date of the event, already considered a milestone for inclusive education at the Institute.

IFSP will host the Southeast Regional Symposium on Inclusion in Professional and Technological Education. Unprecedented, the event will have debates, round tables, lectures and presentation of papers, and aims to discuss, with the Support Centers for People with Specific Educational Needs (NAPNEs) and the servers of the Federal Network, the student's learning possibilities target audience of special education and strategies for its inclusion in the context of professional and technological education.

The event is free and will be held at the Campus Campinas. Interested parties can register works related to inclusive education until March 20 (wait for new date). These works can be registered in the form of oral communication or poster. To enroll them, you must first perform registration for participation in the event.

For the pedagogue Aline Ramos, of the Department of Pedagogical Articulation and Training of the IFSP, the Symposium will be a milestone for the Institute, which has sought to ensure, through NAPNEs, an inclusive education, marked by several actions that allow access, permanence and the possibility of success for people with disabilities. Also according to Aline, the idea of the event is to train the professionals of the Network so that they can offer a better service to students, as well as to improve the quality of education, providing de facto inclusive education.

Inclusion - Inclusive education is a political, cultural, social and pedagogical action, triggered in defense of the right of all students targeting special education (those with disabilities, with autism spectrum disorder and with high skills / giftedness), so that they can be with the other students, interacting, learning and participating, without any type of discrimination.

The complete program of the event is available here. The event has a limit of 180 seats.
