Registration for the pre-selection of high school students from the IFSP for the Sakura Science Program is now open.
The objective of the program is to promote a seven-day exchange program, in which high school students, in the areas of exact sciences and agronomy, will participate in the Science and Technology Experience Course, in Japan.
Students regularly enrolled in Integrated High School who are attending the second or third year, who have a minimum school performance coefficient (CRE) of at least 8,0 and proficiency in English at an intermediate level can participate in the selection. Interested students should seek the representative of the International Relations Office (ARINTER) of their campus with all the documents requested in the call.
Through the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), the program will offer the five selected accommodations, food, ground transportation in Japan, travel insurance, economy class airfare and transfer from the airport to the student accommodation.
Registration will continue until March 10. The final result will be announced on the 13th of the same month. The probable date for going to Japan is May 22 and the return to Brazil is scheduled for 31.
