Four Institute campuses have been accredited by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications.
The Information Technology Area Committee (CATI) of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications (MCTIC) has accredited four IFSP campuses to act as an institution qualified to carry out research and development activities, through an agreement with investor companies, for the purposes provided for in item I of paragraph 1 of article 11 of Law # 8.248, 23, October 1991, the Computer Law.
The campuses that obtained the accreditation were Presidente Epitácio, Bragança Paulista, Piracicaba and Birigui. In this way, companies that invest in R&D, under the terms of the Informatics Law, can already carry out projects in these units of the IFSP.
The four campuses were selected through the Notice 225/2018, promoted by Inova IFSP. As of this announcement, a committee was formed, composed of Inova employees and Ricardo Ferrari employees, of Presidente Epitácio; Pablo de Souza, from Piracicaba; André Panhan, from Bragança Paulista and Ricardo Conde, from Birigui. This committee was responsible for the accreditation of the IFSP with CATI.
