On October 03, the IFSP will promote the lecture “Education and Power”, given by Professor Vitor Henrique Paro. The event will take place at the Aldo Ivo auditorium, Campus São Paulo, at 9am.
The lecture is part of the schedule of the 30st Meeting of Popular Courses of the IFSP, promoted by the Dean of Extension and will be open to the public, who must register in advance. Registrations must be made until September XNUMXth, using the available form here.
About the speaker: Vitor Henrique Paro is a full professor at the Faculty of Education at USP, where he coordinates the Study and Research Group on School Administration - Gepae. He was a senior researcher at the Carlos Chagas Foundation and a full professor at PUC – SP. He is the author, among others, of the following books: School administration: critical introduction; Democratic management of public schools; Inside the public school; Quality of teaching: the contribution of parents; Education as an exercise of power; Criticism of the school structure; School principal: educator or manager? And still Professor: craftsman or worker.
